We help cannabis clients of all types, sizes and experience across California to navigate the state’s nascent and evolving cannabis laws, including advising the largest contract manufacturer of extracted products in the state, the largest indoor grow operation in Northern California, and a distribution company that services approximately 90 percent of licensed retail stores statewide.

More recently, we have advised clients in the newly-legalized hemp industry. The laws governing both industries are still a work in progress, making our sound legal counsel critical. Given the fast pace of business and regulatory changes, we stay on top of industry and legislative developments and keep our clients in the loop.

Our expertise in permitting, land use, real estate, administrative law, intellectual property, corporate transactions and commercial litigation has translated into our on-going work for large, vertically-integrated companies as well as burgeoning entrepreneurs. We also serve as advocates for the cannabis industry at the local and state level and are active members of the National and California Cannabis Industry Associations, the International Cannabis Bar Association and Cal NORML.
